Re: Fuji Quickload Holder

Hi Nigel,

thanks for the question...yes forgot to say they are all mk2 holders, and only contain what you see in the pics (holder and case). None of mine that i've had in the past ever had anything else with them (I had no idea they had a dust cap)

Best,
Matthew.

Fuji Quickload Holder

Hi all, we have some fuji quickload holders for sale. There are 3. They are slightly used (in a darkslide way - not abused, but have rub marks where they have been inserted into cameras). They are undamaged, working, all in cases, and have been used by a car photographer (not students). We don't nee...

Ah... Well the 161 has braces too.

Maybe an old gitzo studio would fit the bill better then.

Re: WTB:Heavy duty tripod

Mine is not for sale,
but sounds like you might want to take a look at the manfrotto 161. Really stable (supports an 8x10 no problem), goes up high, and pretty heavy too.

Best,
Matthew.

Re: Buying a drum scanner

We bought one for work about a year ago. From what I understand most are very fragile, and the chassis can be distorted from being moved incorrectly (installing/ decommissioning). The guy that installed ours (a heidelberg linotype) brought a custom frame with wheels that bolted onto the base of the ...

Razzle 110b

For sale is my beloved Razzle 110b with a 150mm Rodenstock Sironar, or 'Billy Ray Sironar' on Dean's gallery page ( http://homepages.ihug.com.au/~razzle/Gallery/gallery.html ). This has just had a set of brand new bellows installed (previous set had a few pinholes). I'm sure I don't need to introduc...

Interest Check

Hi all, at work we've been throwing around a few ideas... We run a BA (Hons) Photography Degree in Suffolk (Near to the coast). The staff here have been throwing around some ideas about opening up some of the equipment to the public over the summer holidays/ other times when students are not using t...

Re: Film holder management

Loaded = elastic band running over dark slides to bottom of holder.

Unloaded = no elastic band.

exposed/ unexposed as per usual.

I find leaving the darkslides 'open' allows too much dust to gather in the holder.

Re: WTB: Urgent, Linhof/Wista board in Copal 3

only the Sinar board it is mounted on is too thick to fit the camera (I thought these things were standard sizes??). I have experienced the same problem before. Cheap non branded sinar boards seem to be coated/ cut thicker (I have experienced thick (powdercoat?) finish which is too thick). All of t...
