I have and use both the 80 and 110XL lenses and they offer superb quality. My 110XLis sharper then the 80 at full aperture. But as I always stop down this is never an issue. Leon, I wear nitrile (latex free) gloves which I buy quite cheaply on Ebay.

They are chemical resistant so are also great for handling darkroom chemicals.

Hopefully someone can shed some light on the comment I'm about to make. But, I've heard on a couple occasions that Joe sells his Ebony's every so often as the bodies develop a certain amount of play. Thank you so much Paul for your kind comments- wow, you have got a good memory I think the mag. was AP? That was quite a few years back. And indeed it was the old Pentax 6x7, 45mm lens and orange filter!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would certainly recommend this model to anyone thinking of a medium format view camera. One of my most used cameras - so portable, being compact and relatively light, great for taking abroad.
