Re: Jobo CPE2 chemicals
Thanks Richard and Joanna, I think I'll go with the Fuji Hunt 3 bath. How many sheets of film do you usually develop with a 5 litre kit and how long is the life of the chemicals once opened?

Jobo CPE2 chemicals
Hi all, I'm just about to jump in to the world of self E6 processing. Just wondering what chemicals some you use and the cheapest place to get them from? After a good browse on the web I've come across AG in Birmingham which sells a Fuji Hunt 3 bath kit at £51. Is this a good by?
Thanks,
Sean.
Thanks,
Sean.

Hi Brian,
How much would you take for the double capacity tank and another 5x4 spiral as well?

Hi Brian and thanks,
I'm thinking a single capacity tank for now with one 5x4 spiral and a couple of 120 spirals. How much would you take for these?

WTB: 5x4 tank for jobo CPE2
Ive just bought a jobo CPE2 and need a 5x4 tank and spiral for it. It doesn't have a lift with it if that makes a difference to the type of lid. I would also like a couple of 120 spirals too. If anybody has these here that they want to sell please let me know.
Cheers,
Sean.

Re: Hello from Chichester
Hi and welcome to the forum Toby. I'm just down the road from you in Slindon. My real passion is LF landscape photography but I'm just getting in to portraiture digitally with a couple of Bowens lights, backdrops and stuff. Look forward to seeing your results.

Re: Storing open packets of film/Quickload
I have always kept my opened boxes of film (sheet and quickload) in sealable cellophane bags. I place a box in a bag, suck as much air out as I can and store it in the fridge. I've never had a problem doing it this way in my five years of LFing, touch wood. Hope this helps.

Re: E6 chemicals - gone off?
Just as a matter of interest, how much does a set of E6 chemicals cost, where's the best place to get them and what sort of tank do you use for 5x4's. I'm considering the CPE2 route myself.
Thanks,
Sean

Hi Charles,
Had a bit of a roller-coaster ride financially of late, definitely up for it if I haven't starved and petrol hasn't gone up a million quid a litre.

Re: Pembrokeshire locations
Thanks David, indeed I had already gone but I did catch your message in an internet cafe. A very nice place, in fact we spent 4 days there and even managed a couple of dawn raids down on the beach. I particularly liked Raggle Rocks over to the right of the beach, I could spend a month photographing ...

Re: Pembrokeshire locations
Thanks Nigel, thats great. It looks like that peninsular south of Pembroke has loads to offer. Being at the end of the M4, I might just make that my first stop and explore the area for a few days.
