Fixed focus camera?

In a moment of madness I'm thinking of building a 5x4 fixed focus camera with a spare 90mm f8 Super Angulon shoved on the front and an International back on the back of what would basically be a wooden box, the depth of which would give be set to focus at infinity.

Anyone else done it?

Cheers Dave

Has he got a link and where is he?

Swap Rolleiflex tlr for large format gear

Hi All, I know that a 6x6 Rollei isn't large format but I would rather it went to someone in the UK rather than sending it abroad. I bought this early F2.8 Xenotar a while back...It has a dent in the top lens mount that stops the aperture and shutter speed wheels and the viewing lens is a bit off ax...

My first neg for years!

Hi All, I shot a couple of 5"x4" FP4's today at work (the subject matter was nothing exciting) AND developed them.....This is the first negs I have done in about 20 years  and this has spurred me on to get the darkroom finished and do some RA-4... You never know I may come to Wales (if I'm we...

Re: Used chemicals dissposal?

Hi Lynne, Thanks for the link but it is all b+w only....I'll have a read of the leaflet with the chemicals. I won't even ask what women do with their hair treatments  Cheers Dave You should get a Health & Safety data sheet with any chemicals that you purchase which gives all the info on H&S i...

Used chemicals dissposal?

Hi, I am quite a long way from getting my dark room functional (that's an understatement) but I was wondering in this day and age what is the 'enviromental' thing to do with exhausted chemicals, in particular colour dev and blix?

Hi, Anyone in the forum got anything Sinar or good darkroom gear they are not using? I will part with pennies or may have something to swap.

Coming back to photography

Hi All, Let me tell you a little about myself. I have been doing photography for the past 38 years or so (on and off) I suppose looking back on it the only reason I stoped doing it was that I got married and bought up kids ...How many time you herd that? I have used most semi professional and profes...
