Hello Aender, I have also tried to find a RRS supplier in the EU, so far without success. I ended up buying direct from RRS in the US, but the postage makes your eyes water! You might also consider Kirk, some of their items are available from http://www.warehouseexpress.com/ in the UK. The Kirk item...

This is where I get shot at! I did not buy an Ebony simply because it uses the small Linhof panel. I contacted Ebony to see if they would make a 'special' for me with the larger Toyo panel fit. Nobody at Ebony bothered to reply, even though they advertise they will make specials. So I bought a Toyo....

Dave,

I think the main risk is moving the camera whilst you fit the roll film holder. However the great advantage is the choice of film available to you in 120.

Thanks Barry, that makes sense, especially from the temperature control point of view; I doubt cooked film will give very good results. I have a small rigid cold box, 6 pack size, buried in my garage somewhere, I must find it and see if it's suitable. I am interested in the padded case though, mayb...

Dave, A lot of people keep theirs in cheap food cooler bags. I use these for my larger film holders. Proper bags are made by a number of manufacturers, especially in the USA, but are often expensive. A few years ago I bought four (end of line?) Calumet padded film cases which just about hold 10 5x4 ...

Congratulations on your Shen Hao acquisition, they look very nicely made. I look forward to seeing some prints.

Best regards

Hello Paul, Difficult this one. Although I think morally you are in the right, you may have to put this down to experience. As others have said, the listing was very inaccurate. You definitely need to be careful. There is a Nikon 90/f4.5 on E*** at the moment. A careful look shows it to be in a repl...

Delays in PM's

Just a query for the moderator.

When I PM a member, the PM sits in my Outbox for quite some time. Does it sit there until it is viewed by the recipient and is then transferred to my Sent Box?
