Paul, I don't know if you saw Deadpan's thread further down, but the advert on the AOP website is still there. Hopefully this link will work and then click on Buy and Sell at the bottom of the page and Cameras (Film) from the dropdown on the left. There is an email address and a mobile phone number,...

There is a long thread on APUG about Retro, but according to Martin Reed of Silverprint the position is as follows: I'm not sure who said here that Retrophotographic were closing, NOT CORRECT. Nigel Dear at Retro is re-profiling the range of products he is offering, but is certainly not leaving the ...

Don't know if anyone (apart from davejt3) uses Geert for film supplies of odd sizes, but he is currently not trading and has posted the following on his homepage: Sorry, We're currently closed to solve some problems. Current orders are still processed and will be shipped Hope to see you back soon! G...

Re: WTB - Ebony 5x4
Hi guys, I'm looking to buy an Ebony 5x4 (I guess I'm not alone there?), preferably non-folding (such as 45SU :D ) but open to other models. Let me know what you have. Thanks, Mike Mike, there is another 45SU listed on the auction site today. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ebony-45SU-Large-Format-Camera_W0Q...

Can't see it being the same one as Ffordes buy at well below the price they sell, or will sell on commission for 20%, so the eBay seller would have been better off taking your offer. This particular one was waved in front of me when I was in Ffordes on Thursday, but way too exotic for my pocket! On ...

It's a biggie!
I promise not to make a habit of this, but someone is selling a 10x8 DeVere horizontal enlarger on eBay and it has been modified to do 12x10. They are also willing to post it!! Not the sort of beast you see everyday, but ideal if you've been looking for that sort if thing. I'll not be bidding myself...

Hi Stephen, you may want to have a look at eBay item 110393426991, since a Sinaron SE is identical to an Apo-Sironar-S. I have got an Apo-Sironar-S 150mm, but it is not for sale. Good luck. And if you're wondering what the German description on eBay says, Babelfish got me this: Sinar Sinaron SE 150...

The unhelpful truth is that there are many marvellous lenses of all ages hanging about in the big, wide world, but condition is a real biggy as repairing them might not be viable. All my LF gear has been bought secondhand, so no problem with that at all. I had read Kerry Thalmann's Future Classics a...

Hi Morrie and I'm assuming you are talking about the type of intimate landscape described here? : http://www.f-8andbethere.com/notes/theintimatelandscape.htm I'd say it really depends how close you are able to get to the element you want to photograph, and I'd be thinking that often you might need a...

Some info for Velvia fans
Today's email from choose-film.com lists Velvia 50, 4 x 5 x 20 Quickload with a date of April 2009 in the shop at £33.93, plus 10 sheet packs of Velvia 50 4" X 5" for just £10.35, this film is dated June 2009. I'm a mono guy, so no use to me (although I did get some Acros 120 :D ) http://www.fujilab...
