Hi Robin,
thanks for sharing your development technique for this film. Out of curiosity, do you use Rodinal to get better acutance in the negative, compared to a classic D-76 or HC-110?
Cheers,
Val

Re: Raw Chemicals
People buy and make up their own concoctions all the time so I wouldn't worry about it... if you were buying a couple of tons of weed killer or a few gallons of sodium peroxide then a visit from the authorities is probably on the cards. I think the most popular outlets for raw chemicals is Silverpr...

Raw Chemicals
Hello, here I am with another question for you: is it worth buying raw chemicals instead of the commercially available developers, fixers and so on? I'm a chemist, so I don't mind working with smelly chemicals. I'm asking this question for a twofold reason: Raw chemicals could be cheaper. Buying raw...

Re: Instant Film :: FP100C45
Hi Julian,
You're welcome. As far as I know there is no alternative at the moment. However, there's a new 4x5 B&W instant film under development: http://new55project.blogspot.com/. Hopefully it will be on sale soon!

Re: Locations near North Berwick
For anyone going to East Lothian, these are the location I've been to and I recommend:
- The Law in the town of North Berwick; you can't miss it, it's the highest point for miles around
- Tantallon Castle
- Aberlady Bay
- Longniddry Bents

Re: Fogging
As expected, inserting the film holder all the way into the back of the camera solved the problem! I shot 12 sheets last weekend and none of them has the slightest sign of fogging.

Re: Fomapan 100 film
Hi vanman, thank you very much for your detailed description. I think I will use gloves in the future as well, by the way. A big issue is that my Calumet light tight tent is too small to accommodate: Jobo develping tank, Jobo reel loader and film holders. I think I'm going to invest some money on a ...

Re: Harman Titan 5x4 Pinhole review
Yes, I noticed that :) If you search ebay.co.uk for Skink Pinhole then loads of stuff comes up, here's one . Oddly they seem to ship from China, maybe it's a German company manufacturing in China, or something else :? It looks like it comes with a 0.4mm pinhole but other sizes are available along w...

No, I don't have any hardner. However, the film leaflet did not mention it, so I'm not sure if it should be used.
