I want to buy a retaining ring for my 180mm Symmar-S lens, preferably from somewhere in the UK. I think this might be the size I require. Advice appreciated.

Re: MPP Focussing-Hood Problem.
Hi Peter, the hood on the Mk VII in the link, looks identical.
Hi Marizu, I managed to open the hood using a thin blade, but the latch stuck again when I closed the hood. I'm not sure how to completely remove the hood from the Camera.

MPP Focussing-Hood Problem.
The focussing hood on my MPP VIII has stuck in the closed position. Any ideas how to free it?
I don't want to try forcing anything in case I damage the hood. I haven't used the Camera for quite a while.

Re: B&W Processing Advice for newbie developer
Well, I've finally succumbed to peer pressure and got myself setup for some home film processing. :D I'm a complete novice in the darkroom so you'll have to bear with me. I've got myself a CPE/2 and drum/reel etc and all the hardware I need. I've seen Tim Parkin's videos so I'm pretty comfortable w...

Dave, also try Film And Darkroom User as well, as I`m sure someone there would be interested.

It`s a nice enlarger you have there, but way too big for my darkroom.

Re: New to LF: I Want to Learn Portrait & Landscape Photography
The 210mm is a nice portrait lens if you have enough room. Check out the Walker cameras http://www.walkercamera.com I think. The 210 can be a nice landscape lens as well. From there, if you want something wider think about 120-125mm which could be a nice environmental portrait lens as well. steve s...

Re: which film processor?
I'm looking to upgrade my darkroom and interested in acquiring a secondhand "automatic film processor". Is there anybody out there can shed some light on the subject? The name Jobo ATL and CPP have been mentioned throughout this forum, but I'm in a complete muddle as to which is which. At the momen...

I already own a defunct Kodak Readyload holder, so I know just how Fuji Quickload holder owners are feeling right now.Joanna Carter wrote:BJP have justed published my reaction http://www.bjp-online.com/public/showPa ... age=872223

Re: Fuji 160s - exposure information - starter for 10
Now - the big question - I've recently bought some Fuji 160S colour neg - its sooo expensive I thought I'd quiz the group for some exposure starting points . Thanks in advance Tim.... Just set your light-meter to the recommended ISO and makes some bracketed exposures to run a simple calibration tes...

Re: WTB: DDS & jobo drum/reel
I am on the lookout for a couple of 2609n reels and a 2521 or 2551 jobo drum for a CPE-2 processor I have just acquired....keen to try it out but it feels a bit scary! Cheers, Jenny I`m sure you will be able to easily find one of those tanks and reels, as they are quite popular. You might find this...

Re: WTB: Jobo paper clip thingy's
Try Firstcall Photographic. If they don`t have them in stock, they might be able to order them for you.
If you are using a print drum to process 8x10 sheet-films, I find the non-winged clip holders easier to use.

Re: Stuck Filter.
A friendly hello from across the Channel (a hot place where we now envy those living in cool climates, close to the North Sea or any other large & _cool_ mass of water ;) ! ) You can try to wear a pair of very dry kitchen rubber gloves first and see what happens, you'll get a much better grip.
