Ah, but that was only a Forum search on this website, so I'd have thought I was relatively safe?Joanna Carter wrote:Hmmm, just make sure you include words like camera in the search terms, otherwise, when you do get a result set, you light get a whole load of stuff you weren't quite expecting

George Hart was looking for one of these last week in the thread below, but don't know if he still is. Worth a PM?

Geoffrey Crawley, RIP
Amateur Photographer has announced the passing of Geoffrey Crawley after a long illness. For both his chemicals and vast technical knowledge passed on with skill, I'd like to say thanks.

JOBO ATL processors on eBay
I know there has been a bit of interest in these processors here, so this is a heads-up for anyone looking out for one. First up is an ATL 1500 listed as brand new and unused with a fixed price of £1999, while the second is a used ATL 1000 at afixed price of £599.99. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Jobo-ATL-1...

Re: Portrait Lens on Toyo 5x4
I'd say the 300mm would be the better bet if we assume that 150mm is the "standard" lens for 5x4. Doubling the 150 to 300 should be roughly equivalent to doubling the 50mm to 100mm on 35mm, or doubling the 80mm to 150mm on 120, so reasonably close to the portrait lenses in these formats. The problem...

Re: new sheet film holder for Paterson 3 tanks
If it is the same as 2 x 120 reels, I take it that's going to mean a full 1000ml of chemistry rather than 270ml in a CPE2? And has anybody bought one of these yet?
Thanks, Peter

Kerry Thalmann lens sale
If you haven't been on the US LF site since yesterday, Kerry Thalmann has announced that he is having a clearout of his LF lens collection. I don't know if this is US only or if he would be prepared to post to the UK, but it's a fair bet that every one will be a cracker! The list is apparently only ...

FS: Ebony viewer NOW SOLD
I bought this viewer from Stephen last year http://www.lf-photo.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1067 and have never used it because I got a right way up viewer soon after (ok, maybe it's cheating :) ). It's now time to move this one on to someone who would use it, so I'm pretty much looking for the...

Re: Jolly Japes with 8x10
Hi Tim I've never had a problem with the Orbital even though I left the lugs/wings on the top part in place, but I've seen quite a few people say that they've cut them off due to developing problems. The lines on yours appear to be heading towards where the wings would be, so that may well be the ev...
