Good effort - weekday option is fine, as is the B&B option.
Work dates & holidays otherwise dictate availabilty for me.
Sandeha, if I get there I'll bring some coffee filters, you'll be fine, calm down!

Hmm - I don't consider myself to be in a position to offer anything other than personal opinion - and to that end, I prefer the second version...although I like the framing anyway.

Satin Snow GG

My new Satin Snow ground glass arrived today. Needless to say, the first thought that I had upon seeing who the package was from, was about the circumstances that Dave and his family have to deal with at the moment. I was somehow both surprised, and a little shocked to receive it. Not sure why. On a...

..Aaahhh, I didn't quite understand how competitve this was within UKLFPG - it maybe explains some comments re males and females...- Personally, I don't feel the need to compete as either one gender against another, or one photographer against another, I like to take images to please myself, but if ...

It seems so! - however, the observations made before the thread problem by certain female LF-ers would tend to suggest its a very good plan... I did note on the (now unavailable) post that there was a possibility for the Cotswolds, and your own suggestion for NT property at Biddulph Grange in Staffo...

The tall and the short of it.

It seems to me that the best guerilla option is to send a squad of female LF-ers to Biddulph Grange (or any other NT that we would like to make a visit to) BEFORE we try and visit....

I fit the "less experienced" title too, and I'd be quite happy to travel the hour or two down to the Cotswolds if you have a plan for a day out...

Still awaiting mine.....MPP users need to band together!
Dave P. has contacted me to tell me that he will re-send my screen, originally ordered in January this year.
Hopefully, I'll soon be able to report on the result of its arrival.
(My glass is always half full...!) :D

Biddulph Grange

Hi all - been off-line for a day or two, so apologies for the delay. BG in principle sounds fine, really handy for me - BUT I've encountered fierce resistance to tripod use there before, with an obsession about pro. photographers making money from/on NT properties - is this not your experience of th...

What do you want from a day visit group meeting or workshop?

As tiltle, really - I'm based in North Staffordshire, and following a question I posed, its been suggested that I might want to put forward a venue and date for LF users to make a casual meet. What do you all want out of such a thing?? - is a day visit best based around local users? Am I quite mad f...
