Manfrotto Tripods - A tale of leg loss

Any of you out there shooting with a recent Manfrotto? This might just save your tripod. On more recent Manfrottos the only thing stopping the lower leg sections from retracting too far in to the higher sections is the tinky rubber foot. You can't copyright a concept, copyright only extends to an item of creative work. You could patent the concept, which can protect it. Their website doesn't mention a patent, and the idea seems a little too vague to me to be patentable, so th ebest thing to do is to check with your local patent offi...

Well, Sunday looks good for a Hilbre trip, tides are good, and the weather is actually looking to be quite good!
