Sean

You have many stunning images in your portfolio. :D If you go down the Joe Cornish route and make them available as cards I'd be most interested. I sent out a large batch of JC cards last Christmas & everybody loved them.

Thanks for that Paul, but I think your 1 bad point may well be the deciding factor for me! :( Just visit Robert White or Teamwork (my mistake ;) ) and ask to handle an Ebony. Stroke it, sniff those bellows, twiddle the sleek, elegant aluminium knobs, feel the silky smoothness of the titanium.... :P...

When Tmax Readyloads were discontinued I decided to return to using film holders to be able to continue with Tmax. I've been surprised at how quickly I've got back into using them. Obviously they're nowhere near as convenient as Ready/Qulickloads, and care is required to minimise dust, but holders ...

The camera arrived Friday and I can now answer some of the questions I put here, for future reference for anyone else interested in finding out this information in the future. It takes Tecnika (and therefore Ebony) lens boards. The widest angle lens it can accomodate (without bag bellows/recessed le...

Thanks JC (that Joanna not the other JC... ) for establishing the position. I have been ordering Acros 100 QL from Fuji direct via the link above as it seems to work out slightly cheaper (unless I've done my maths wrong - never my strong subject). I would be interested in buying a year's suppl...

Fuji to discontinue Acros 100 in Quickload format

Quickload Acros 100 is being discontinued.... link: http://www.fujilab.co.uk/catalog/neopan-acros-4x5x20-quickload-p-64.html :'( I'm not really very happy about this. Are Fuji phasing out the production of Acros 100 generally, of which this is the beginning or are they starting to abandon their comm...

Hi Bip, I've got the 90XL but for an odd picture it hasn't been wide enough. I've also got the Grandagon 75m f/6.8 which is a last chance desperation measure as it has very limited movements - the 72XL is a lot better in this respect and would be a good next purchase for me if the money was availab...

Linhof Kardan Color 45S monorail

Whilst awaiting my Ebony (for which I cannot now be given a date when it will be supplied :( ) I am thinking of buying a secondhand Linhof Kardan 45S to practice learning technique with in the meantime, before the Ebony 45SU arrives. I understand that this has a international back but I am not clear...

I think it is an attractive format for certain types of landscape work, especially when 5x4 will be filled mostly with water and sky, as with a great deal of my current 35mm and 6x6cm work is when I photographing coastlines in Norway. Sheet film is expensive and I expect this format to pay for itsel...

It depends. For photography I'm usually right eyed unless doing photomicrography with my OM1 and right-angle finder - but that's because I need to use my right eye for other things! For microscopy if I'm drawing an organism, I peer through the eyepiece with my left eye, but for observation use my ri...

I've finally ordered one of these whilst waiting (still..... ) for my camera to arrive from Japan.
