WTS Super-Trekker AWII, QL+Polaroid backs, Harrison tent etc
Lowe-Pro Black Supertrekker AWII Seems they don’t make them like they used to! Model seems not to be held by many UK stockists, or those that do are charging silly prices (over £450!) This bag is in great condition £250 Price has been reduced from £275. Initially forgot to mention that it comes wit...

SOLD Ebony 45SU, 45SU Bag Bellows, Ebony W/A Int fit Fresnel
Ebony 45SU camera (Boxed) – Very Good Condition. It has been cherished and well maintained. Inevitably it isn’t Mint as I have used it as intended in the outdoors. Though being a soft Southerner, predominantly in rain-free conditions! Apart from a tiny piece of corner of the front 45SU badge missin...

Re: Processed my first E6
Hi Patrick I haven't seen Tim's videos so won't comment on his process, but have seen sufficient accolades that people have found them informative and given them the confidence to go ahead and try to process their own film, E6 in particular having a bit of a reputation as a hard nut to crack. I know...

Re: Processed my first E6
Why only 4 sheets per batch? Is it because of the mythical streaking which some 'informed' web advisers recommend? I've processed hundreds of sheets to date, consistently getting top notch results with 6 sheets in the standard 2506N holder using 250ml chemicals one-shot. For 4 sheets I use the outer...

Re: Field Outdoor Tripod Tent Mobile Darkroom - anyone got one?
I've a Harrison Standard tent which I've had for ages. It is a superb bit of kit, easy to set up and they do seem to have gone up in price! The Claumet one looks a bit like a lastolite reflector and I still haven't managed to fold them in a hassle-free manner. The Pup is apparently a bit tight for l...

Re: Flights cancelled? Stay home and break open the velvia.
Frustratingly clear skies and no real colour of note here on the South Coast. The cloud that was around yesterday afternoon, getting my hopes up had teasingly started playing hide and seek by the time the sun was getting low.
Remedy was breaking open the Barolo instead of RVP....

Re: Cooke Soft Focus PS945 Lens - in production again
Bit of a heads up. I'm probably going to be selling my Cooke PS945 once I get back from a couple of weeks in Cornwall. Essentially I'm not using it as much as I feel that I ought and that someone else might get to enjoy owning and using this wonderful lens. Serial Number is 0071, so not quite James ...

Re: How do you cut window mounts?
The Longridge works very well, I used one for 3-4 years. Far simpler to mark out than the Maped system which needs 8 lines drawn per mount, the Longridge requiring just 4. Their marking gauge also speeds things up. If you are looking at Lion supplies or Wessex pictures whom I use, then perhaps worth...

Re: DIY Film Scanning Service - Prices From £3.50
BTW, go here: http://www.ianscovell.com/isleofwight/Downloads.html I've uploaded a profile for the precision III made using a Hutch target. May be useful for your machine (or maybe not). Thanks Ian, just downloaded the profile. Have only tried assigning on a couple of previous scans. Seems much blu...

Re: DIY Film Scanning Service - Prices From £3.50
Unfortunately, if you have a Mac with Snow Leopard, you can't use it, you would need the latest Phocus software but this : That's not my experience Joanna, I am successfully using Flexcolor 4.04 for my Flextight Precision II under Snow Leopard (OSX 10.6.2) HTH this sounds like a very good deal on s...

Re: Recommend a lightmeter?
I used an L508 initially - this was an upgrade after my son played 'conkers' with my very elementary Gossen meter.... Was really pleased with it and using a single AA battery makes things easy. I found a disparity of 2/3 stop when I changed to a Pentax Digital Spotmeter. This accounted for having to...

Looks pretty comprehensive Tim
I would suggest also
Bruce Cairns
Ian Leake
Peter Watson
Ian Scovell
Matt Sampson is currently in Hong Kong for a couple of years. David Noton? Thought he was entirely digital these days.
I'll rack my brain to see if I can think of any more.

Re: Just purchased Jobo Atl 1000 - need a bit of help please
That is how it should be; same as the one I owned. Bottom knob is for the process type 3bath E6, C41, B&W etc. Lights 1-6 are for the current bath in operation. Top knob is for compensation. in percentage of timings for first bath only. I made an excel file for equivalent stop push/pull. I'll try to...
