Re: jobo cpa (not cpa2) any good?
Hi Frederick, I wouldn't worry overly about it's age if it's in good condition. They do pay for themselves eventually depending on how much you shoot. I have had a couple of Jobos for about 5 years now and they owe me nothing now. I would encourage everyone to do their own processing, and not just f...

If you are getting to look at it, someone you know for example, then fill it and get it up to temp to make sure its ok there, also give the motor a run too. Other than that they ar...

Re: i need 4x5 depth of field quick pointer
Hi Frederick, you should be able to see the DOF on the screen, that's one of the benefits of shooting LF.
But just in case you need to read what your eyes are seeing, try this link.

FS Epson 7600
I have an epson 7600 that is currently sitting in a store room having not been used for a while. I have just got a 4880 so I don't envisage using it much at all. Also, I am due to move as the hostel I work at is closing for renovation for 6-7 months, and I have to move out of the staff flat. This me...

WTS Durst L1200
I have just bought a job lot from the local camera store who were selling for a third party. I was after the processor but there is also a Durst L1200 enlarger with the stuff. I don't have a darkroom and don't envisage having the space anytime soon so was looking to sell it on to someone who could u...

Re: Testing Gari's Scanner
Hi Phil, yeh you need a piece of glass that fits in the space on the wetmount holder, the black card like one. It's pretty easy to get a piece of float glass(as in used for frames) cut to the exact size. Then you simply mount the trannie to the glass, emulsion side to the glass I found better, using ...

Re: Testing Gari's Scanner
Look pretty good to me Phil. The first two may be a little blue but of course that can be sorted with the scanning software or in PS. Profiling would sort it too if you want to spend more money
Hope you are finding it useful
Gari.
Have you tried the wetmount holder yet?

Re: canon scanner 9950f
sorry to those folks that didn't get it. I am just sorting stuff at the moment as I need to put my life in storage for several months as the hostel I work and live at is closing for renovation. I have no idea where I will be going and for how long, so I am being quite brutal with what I pack and wha...
