There are a number of artists from Saatchi's collection being exhibited in this show that use large format equipment.
Before we go any further, beware that there are a number of images being displayed that may (quite rightly) offend the sensibilities of many.
There are a couple of images from Mitch Epstein's American Power series.
Katy Grannan has a number of striking and large portraits of Frisco's finest. I think that these images were shot on LF. Certainly much of her earlier work was.
David Benjamin Sherry's large landscape photographs look like they originated in a view camera before being romantically developed and printed by Cheech and Chong. These are truly captivating images.
A collection of Adam Broomberg and Oliver Chanarin's collected 10x8 negatives of nudes in the Warsaw Ghetto are shown under red glass as the hadn't been fixed properly.
As the large frormat camera is a favourite tool of the contemporary photographer, I'm sure that there is much more work that has been created using our favourite tools.
Anyway, this exhibition is free, I can offer no warranties and I suspect that the only person that likes all of the pictures in this mixed bag is Saatchi himself.
Stick your head in if your passing and let us know what you think <ducks/>
