I'm looking for a small Arca Swiss tripod plate with a 3/8" thread. It's not actually for photography; I want to attach a shotgun microphone to my Gitzo/Acratech/Kirk tripod so that I can record wildlife sounds, and recording kit uses 3/8" threads to connect together. I'm after a small square plate as the microphone cables and XLR connectors get in the way otherwise. The microphone itself doesn't weight much, certainly much less than a Tachihara and 121mm Super Angulon.
