Forum Software Update

Post by Joanna Carter » Sun Jul 12, 2009 9:01 pm Etc/GMT-1+01:00

Our resident technical bod (DJ) is hoping to upate the forum software to the latest version. This should happen sometime after midnight tonight. So, if you really can't sleep and feel the urge to browse or post messages, don't be surprised if things don't work for a couple of hours.

Hopefully, we'll see you all on the other side sometime tomorrow.

All done. If anyone notices anything amiss or any problems, please send me a private message via the board.

You'll notice quite a few new features with the newer version of the software, including being able to subscribe to forums or even particular threads. We've not tried these out yet, so we'll have to see how they go, let us know of any problems.

We may make a few changes on an ongoing basis to take advantage of the new features and flexibility, but these should mostly be transparent to you good folks.

Enjoy.
