Affordable scanning for computerphobes

All talk about software, scanners, printers, digital backs, etc.

Affordable scanning for computerphobes

Post by Thingy » Thu Sep 20, 2012 4:51 pm Etc/GMT-1+01:00

I was wondering if it is possible to get the occasional tranny scanned at an affordable price? Whilst I really love making images with a film camera I really HATE the whole digital workflow process - the scanning :( - the removal of scanned dust specs :x - the postprocessing in Photoshop :'( . I just want images that I can print in both A4 and A3 sizes.

Can anyone suggest where I can go - from experience?
Love is an Ebony mounted with a Cooke PS945.......

Hi,

in UK there's http://www.cheapdrumscanning.com run by Tim Parkin, who is also a member in this forum...

Best,
