I suspect I know who that individual might be. Come on, give us a hint. The guilty party's initials at least? :)

I've recently moved it to a newer and faster server. I'm happy to continue hosting it for a while...
My January 14 PM to "mash" remains unread and in my Outbox. Is "mash" Marc?

In any case, thanks to Marc and you for keeping this alive. I hope that, whoever soured things, everyone ignores them, moves on and revives the forum.

In response to your enquires, yes, the forum does seem to have somewhat "died", and the cause was largely one rotten apple spoiling the barrel.

A certain member who was openly and relentlessly critical of everything about this forum, (one might say suspicously so), including repeated personal attacks on one of the admins, more or less ruined it for everyone who was contributing the effort to keep things running. Ultimately I suspect they all reached the point of "why am I bothering", and so if that individual's intent was to sabotage this forum, he succeeded admirably.

DJ

I have sent DJ a PM but not sure if he has received it because it appears to be stuck in the Outbox and not the Sent Box.

I basically gave up on running the group or promoting the site since "the terminator". I'm not sure what I can do here anymore. I moved to France on 10th June this year but would be very willing to help LFers who would like to explore the Brittany region.

I also have to seek a source of spares for my Jobo ATL 1500, whose inlet connection was smashed by the removers

Joanna, what ever became of your "reloadable QuickLoads" project?

Hi Joanna,

I hope you are still using that Ebony? I am still yet to buy one although as Ebony have now stopped production it may not happen :( I did buy an Ebony ground glass for my Chamonix, superb.

Enjoy Brittany

I got very busy with writing iPad software for pilots of private jets and, with the decline in interest in LF generally, I'm not sure it would have been worth the effort or expense.

What with all the process of preparing our house in the UK fo sale, breaking my arm in the process and then struggling to sell, I haven't touched the Ebony for a couple of years.

Once we get settled in a bit more, we intend to restart our endeavours.
