Those clever folks at HP have been listening to traditional photographers wanting to recreate the alternative processes with digital tools.

Not my cup of tea, but might be of interest to some of you, I know this is the sort of thing UraniumNitrate was trying to achieve. Certainly an interesting thing to crop up from a digital company... maybe the "art" of photography isn't dying after all!

Well it's an altenative to the Epsons.
I was given a Palladium print last week, the negative was made digitally. Next week I go to the South of Turkey to make some images and at the same time learn to Platinum/Palladium print, making digital inter-negatives from my 5x4 negatives.
The quality is superb. It's what Sandy King does as well for his carbon printing. I'm rather a purist but the results may justify the means. I'd also look at making paper negatives using Ilford's new direct reversal paper.
