hello,could anybody recommend a portrait lens for my linhof 5x4.should i go for a 210 or a 240 lens,or maybe even longer?all comments highly welcome,better still has anybody got a lens for sale(without breaking the bank!),also where can i buy a depth of field calculator?

A 210 of 240mm lens sounds about right. Up to 300mm really, but at that point the lenses start getting really huge or really dark. IMO the "sweet spot" is around 240mm. These lenses have the added advantage that I can use them on severl cameras too - 5x4, 7x5 and 8x10"!

At the moment I don't have any "surplus" 240mm lenses - at least not in shutter. ;)

Hu Du, can't help with the lens thing but I have put a link in for the DOF table below.
I have printed one for each of my lenses and laminated 'em. work fine for me.
