Hi ya...
Does anyone have any advice on where to get or what to use for a wet mount solution...
want to try scanning a few Negs using the wet mount option on a V700 scanner, but before I invest a lot into this I just what to try a few first, so any advice would be great...
Thanks

Re: Wet mounting
Haynes graphic arts sell a kit with all you need for wet scanning on an Epson V750; http://www.haynes-graphic-arts.co.uk/kami.html ; It may be a bit cheaper to just get the essential components separately rather than the whole kit.
Good luck

Re: Wet mounting
It's a pain.
The (UK) V700 doesn't come with the fluid mount holder.
People on the US forum don't seem to like the official holder because the scanning head scans through it (or something like that).
You would probably need to use a betterscanning holder.
For 10x8, your only option is to scan on the scanner bed.
I started a thread on the issues with scanning 10x8.

The only thing that I learned was not to do it
