Lens coverage question.

Post by Kintokoba » Sun Jan 17, 2010 11:35 am Etc/GMT-1+01:00

I've been lucky enough to buy a 10 x 8 camera with a 5 x 4 reducing back. I would greatly appreciate some knowledge from you all regarding lens coverage.
I've got 3 lenses also coming and believe I need one more (yes honestly popett just one more I promise  ), the problem is that I don't really have an good enough idea about lens coverage and light fall off.
Can it really be as easy as focal length? I was looking at a Super Angulon 210mm and the item description spoke of a 105 degree coverage and its being suitable for 10 x 8 camera use.
I'll come to lensboards,, recessed or otherwise, soon

Many thanks.

There is a table of new lenses dating back to 2002 at this link http://www.largeformatphotography.info/ ... x10in.html

You can get info on Schneider lenses at this link http://www.schneideroptics.com/info/vin ... /index.htm

Have fun, Peter
