Do you have an Epson 4990, V700 or V750?
Do you use Velvia transparency film?
Do you use Silverfast scanning software?
Do you use the Doug Fisher scanning holders/ground glass?
Are you very proficient in the Silverfast software (ie able to go into options and set various gamma & icm settings?
Are you proficient with Photoshop?
Do you have a colour calibrated monitor?
Do you live in the U.K.?
Are you happy to be called on the phone & talked through the testing procedure?

I've designed a an ICC profile for the Epson scanners based on a HutchColor target. What I'm looking for are 1 or 2 people who own the above scanners and are happy to beta test the profile to see what it does on their machines. What would be required, is for me to give you the profile, and tell you how & what settings you need to run Silverfast to generate a raw scan. Finally applying the profile in Photoshop to correct the colours and increase the dmax.

If you're interested in taking part? send me a pm

Ian, what film is the profile for? I use different targets from Wolf Faust, with the Monaco EZColor sysztem, depending on whether I am scanning Velvia 100/Astia 100F, Provia 100F or Velvia 50. the profiles generated all produce different colour balance, etc.
