Linhof bellows and recessed boards

Post by Charles Twist » Thu Dec 17, 2009 6:04 pm Etc/GMT-1+01:00

This is an appeal for help to all Linhof Technikardan users. I have a TK45 with both bag and normal bellows. I don't know with cast-iron certainty that the bellows are original Linhof but that's what I was sold supposedly (the dealer turned out to be dodgy, so who knows?). I recently looked into using a recessed panel and discovered that the front of both sets of bellows clip the circular hole of the front standard and prevents the insertion of the recess of a recessed panel, see picture beneath. It's only a mm or two which I can shave off if need be, but I was wondering if this was normal on all TK's - which would classify as an unlikely engineering mistake - or whether my bellows were non-regulation.
Thanks for your help. Best regards,
Charles
