Hello from France !
is there any colour sheet film apart from kodak and fuji ?
I'm afraid not, except old stock of Agfa sheet film, the German company was bankrupt a few years ago. However the parent company Agfa Gevaert in Belgium had stocked some big rolls of film for aerial photography. So the stock of colour film from Agfa Gevaert is probably non-empty.
It is no secret that some of this Agfa-Gevaert stock of B&W film is sold under the Maco or Rollei brands, in colour, some rollfim equivalent to Agfachrome RSX-II 200 (with a different PET base) is now sold under the name Rollei digibase CR-200 in 35mm and 120 rolls. No sign of sheet film however.
maybe from ussr..
Back in the USSR ?
Well, taking into account that the USSR officially ceased to exist as of 1991, any USSR-made film is at least 15 years beyond the date of recommended use..
OK, seriously, I do not know if Russia has kept an industry manufacturing colour film....
or china
My feeling is that there is no technology domain where China cannot act as a major industrial player. However....
I've been once in China, in Bejing in April 2006 ; this was just before the 1-st of May which is a holiday. There were many Chinese tourists in Beijing, I've not seen a single film camera in use... and this was 3 years ago !!
So I do not know but we certainly cannot count on the Chinese domestic market to be an incenive for colour film "made in China"... I hope to be wrong !
Now if you want to experiment another world in colour with a medium or large format camera, you should give a try to the 3-colour or 2-colour process with B&W film. This will give you access to an ulimited choice of "films" in terms of colour rendition !!
