4x5 Processing - Quick Question

I've shot my first sheets in a mixture of Ektar and Delta 100 but only have 1 spare box in which to send them to them lab. Will they (peak Imaging) just sort them out at their end using the indentations to work out which is which or do you all ship B&W and colour in separate boxes?

They will more than likely have different loading stations for the two processes, this will mean that would have to take extra time, in the dark, to separate out the sheets. Don't risk it. Separate boxes, clearly labelled.

OK, thanks. I've emailed Peak the same question and maybe they'll send me out a spare box if they want the sheets separated. Either that or I'll just have to send the B&W in after I get the colour ones back.

If you want the box back from Peak Imaging, you will have to explicitly request it. Don't forget to ask them for all the contents of the box - black bag, etc., or all you will get back is literally an empty box!
The plus side of this is that they are likely to have plenty of spare boxes lying around.
David.

Peak always gave me the silver bag back with the box without specifically asking for it, although not always with the cardboard folder thing.

Just to make it clear, my previous comment was not meant to give the impression that Peak Imaging do a poor job; on the contrary, they do all my E6 and C41 processing, and I'm very pleased with their service. I was just sharing my experiences with w.r.t. the return of 5x4 boxes and their content. YMMV.
