prontor professional timer

Hi

I just picked up one of these but dont know how it works
I only have the box so i guess i need some sort of cable at least to get it working
I would like to connect it to sinar behind lens shutter and copal ones

If it's the one I remember it's just a simple clock work timer that fits the shutter release socket. It works by setting the shutter to B (or D) and has a dial that allows the device to keep the shutter release depressed for between 2-32 seconds depending on what you set the dial to. There should be a small switch on the side that allows the device to be used as a normal release as well

Because the device has a fixed plunger it should also have a matching cable release (extension). You could try Teamwork, Linhof Studio or Robert White, there's two types available Gepe and Linhof, but they are quite expensive compared to plain cable releases.
