Absolutely, depending on the price. They are good for most LF shooters and manuals are for download from the Jobo site.
If you are getting to look at it, someone you know for example, then fill it and get it up to temp to make sure its ok there, also give the motor a run too. Other than that they are quite simple things. You doing Colour or B/W?

colour mainly, its an old one, by the look of it. but its cheap and i guess itll pay for itself after a while:)

Hi Frederick, I wouldn't worry overly about it's age if it's in good condition. They do pay for themselves eventually depending on how much you shoot. I have had a couple of Jobos for about 5 years now and they owe me nothing now.
I would encourage everyone to do their own processing, and not just from a cost point of view. very liberating once you have got a good workflow sorted, you can come back from a trip or day shoot and know that you can process at your convenience, no postal worries etc.
