HI Everyone;
Just wondering if anyone can recommend someone in the UK to front mount a packard shutter? I have an old Darlot lens that i need to mount a shutter to and am not terribly practical myself!

Re: Mounting packard shutter
I guess I could front mount a Packard shutter for you, but I won't be back in the UK for about 3 weeks. PM me if you need my help.
How big is the Packard and what's the diameter of the front of the lens, also what camera is it going to be used on, I may have a better suggestion. I do use front mounted shutters and barrel lenses myself.

Hi Claire
fwiw, I can definitely endorse/recommend Ian
depending on the size of the Darlot's barrel, it may be possible to 'front mount' a modern shutter to it (which I have managed in the past) but bear in mind that there is not only the possibility of vignetting arising plus with the shutter in place, the coverage may well be reduced
good luck
