Jobo ATL 1000

Post by P. J. Singh » Wed Aug 10, 2011 9:13 pm Etc/GMT-1+01:00

Hi

I hope someone can help. I have just got a Jobo ATL 1000 processor, I have a water pump with it too, the processor seems pretty straightforward to use with the water pump, especially when you're on the move. I want to plumb this machine to a more permanent water supply at home so I can put a tank of film in, put the chemicals the set it to start and come back when everything is done, but I know nothing about plumbing whatsoever. How do I connect this?

Thanks

Pav

Surely someone has one of these machines and can help me plumb this in.

I have an ATL1500. The water pump you have is connected to the low pressure connector. If you plan on connecting the high pressure inlet, you will need a thermostatically controlled water supply; this can be expensive.

I use the low pressure inlet, putting the pump in a 25 litre bucket of water, kept at the right temperature by a Nova heater. The 25 litres should be enough for the washes required for E6 processing and definitely enough for B&W work.
