Velvia Source

Post by Ian Johnson » Thu Sep 15, 2011 10:25 am Etc/GMT-1+01:00

Hello

I'm trying to buy some Velvia 50 4x5 and have contacted RW but they only have one box left, I've looked on the net but can't find much information on other dealers.

Can anyone suggest a dealer that may have it in stock?

Regards

Ian

Hi Bill

Doesn't matter whether it's local or online, just as long as they're a good dealer (have it in stock regularly), with fair prices.

Thanks for the replies

Badger doesn't have any, neither does B&H. Strange, that...

There seems to be some in Germany, though:

It's much cheaper from Germany. See also MACO below:

I buy quite a lot of film from them.

I think I can beat you on quantity of film in my fridge, but you're a very clear winner on value with all that Polaroid. Hell, some of your film even seems to be in date!

Paul, so little film! My freezer (all 4 drawers) is currently full of film, mainly Quickload. If you take it out of the box you can store twice as much in a given space. The rest is stored in the two veg drawers in my fridge.

It's actually CHEAPER to buy quickload, if you are willing to buy 100 sheets (expiry date 8/11) from the USA!!!

The films mentioned have all been discontinued for a while now. Looks like somebody has come across an old announcement and thinks it's new.

No cause for concern. Well, no new cause for concern....
