Hi...

So I have brought my first batch of film "FUJI PROVIA 100F" to test on, I went for out of date stock as I am expecting to make a few mistakes at first i.e loading, unloading, the newbe stuff.

I would like to do my own processing at some point, but I have a few question that I would like to put forward to the group and hope that some of the users that do this can answer.
If I was to send my first few slides of to a lad, and tell them how old the film is would they work out the revised times for the processing.
If I was to do at home does anyone know of a table that I could lookup to get some idea of processing time.

And finally wheres the best place to get Chemicals.

You could ask them to do a clip test (or do it yourself) by developing the first couple of frames and seeing how they look.
Most likely is that it will be fine at the standard E6 time, unless film was exposed 40+ years ago and you have to deal with base fog.
I get all my chemicals from AG.

I've shot E6 ten years out of date with standard times and it was fine. Dont worry about it. If you start asking labs for non standard times they'll probably have to charge you the premium for push processing.
