Storage of exposed film

Morning all
To my horror, my local place here inTours has stopped developing E6 and all other films. Outside of Tours, the nearest place is Paris, which is about 200 miles away
However, I do know someone in the UK who still does it near to where my dad lives in Salisbury.
My problem is that I am in the UK only every 3 to 4 months. If I have film that has been exposed, what is the best way to keep it? I know that I could do this myself. However, I currently do not have the room where I live.
Thanks
