I wouldn't worry too much. Filing for Chapter 11 doesn't mean that the end is nigh. It just provides a 'breathing space' during which time the firm can restructure and, hopefully, regain solvency. Some businesses continue to trade for several years in this state.

All really great products. I hope the traditional arm can survive though I'd read that there have been rumblings of getting rid of it for a while - it would be a very very sad day.

You could always use Ilford's ID-11 (isn't it the same as D76 anyway?).

Hi Thingy - yeah I know they're identical, and I would probably mix my own anyway (cough cough  ) but it is more the principle of possibly losing such archetypal products.
I had a panic moment this morning and bought 50 sheets of TMX and 50 sheets of TXP.

Thanks Jools - that's good to know. I still think it's worth putting an order in whatever the future holds. Rod has kindly gotten in touch with me to offer his help on ordering some film from BHPhotoVideo.

It makes sense to order other film stocks which are hard to find in Europe (that includes the UK). I'll be getting some Astia, so why not Delta 100 as well? BHPhoto are asking for $33 a pack of 25 (compared to $28.50 at Badger - same price for 100 sheets though), so it's not that great a deal, especially when you take postage and customs in to account. In fact, as Rod has pointed out, it really needs volume to make this interesting. Saving £5 is not much unless you're buying a lot of film, especially if there is then transport in the UK. So if you order a pack of 100 sheets, the price per 25 is under £25 and you save £40. Glenn, can you send me your order via pm if you're still interested?

So far there are 4 of us interested in going ahead. If one or two more people want to join in, then we'll be delighted to help. Just drop me a pm within the next couple days.

Best regards,
Charles
