No more 3 bath Fuji kits?

Post by Paul Dunning » Wed Jan 25, 2012 2:00 pm Etc/GMT-1+01:00

I was wondering if anyone has any opinions on the best way to go now that we can't get the E6 3 bath Fuji Hunt kits any more, 6 bath Fuji or 3 bath Tetenal ?

I'm just a bit worried that 6 baths means twice as many opportunities to get it wrong

Thanks,
Paul.

Hello Paul,

I have ordered two Fuji 3 bath Kits from AG Photographic UK some weeks ago.

Best regards,
Martin

Hi Martin,

AG only seem to list the 6 bath kits on their website, same with Firstcall which is where I got my previous 3 bath kit from.

Paul.

It's a bit of a pain. I was about to order a new Fuji 3 bath from FirstCall this week and discovered they had sold out.

At the moment I'm leaning towards the 3 bath Tetenal for no particular reason than trying it out. From all of the info I've read there doesn't seem to be much difference between the Fuji and Tetenal 3 bath kits.

Hi Glenn,

I might give the Tetenal a go.

For a while now I've been thinking of doing a comparison between my own E6 developing and Peak Imaging's (just for my own peace of mind), I might try this using the last of my Fuji chemicals and then with the Tetenal, the results might be interesting (or maybe not).

Paul.

Yeah, please post your experiences with the Tenetal Kit!!!
Sooner or later I'll also have to switch either to a Fuji 6-bath or a Tenetal 3-bath :'-(
