The film is no longer available new, in Europe but you can buy it in Japan. When Joanna next visits Toyko to commission a n ew Ebony I'm sure she'll take our multiple orders for QL film.

I'd like to order 5 boxes of Acros...

You could try ebay for stuff that's been properly stored.

There's a box of Provia 100F up for auction with a starting price + P&P of almost £98 for a 20 sheet box/

There's also this better offer for 3 boxes of Velvia 50...

Unless you have an absolute need for a good reason, buy a few DDS' and some cut sheet film and poss a calumet changing tent (not strictly required of course) and pocket the difference :-)

regards Tim......

Thinking about it I have a few boxes of unopened deep frozen (minus 20) Velvia 100 (not 'F' from memory) that's probably actually still in date or quite close to. I prefer V50 so could come to an arrangement if you were interested. Suggest you PM me if so.. BTW I'm based close to Southampton if you wanted to exclude the postman !

£98 would be obscene.....if boxes of 20 normal sheets weren't going for £60ish now anyway!

Basically outside of japan quickload is more or less unobtainable now though retail, unless you drop on the odd box on ebay (and are willing to pay a premium) or find a private seller clearing out their freezer on a forum. I bought three boxes a while back for the freezer at a good price and am saving it for any trip where weight it at an absolute premium. Other than that you'd be mad to try an pursue quickload for day-to-day shooting now unless you're allergic to darkslides and have a load of cash you're desperate to burn.

You could still sell it here or on ebay... or frame it with a note on the glass covering it: IN CASE OF EMERGENCY - BREAK GLASS!

ps: Have a look below... you might be able to buy some affordable QL after all...
