I thoought that, to do 1 thing at a time, I'd get a polaroid back and some film. [Chemicals come later when it's not so parky at the far end of the barn where darkroom facilties lurk.] What I found was a polaroid 550 back at a very reasonable £10 so I bought it. when I got it home it is about 1" thick and absolutely no chance of sliding it into the rear of my personal antique which is looking for d/s slides at about 1/4" - 1/3 "
So back to ebay and looking for a 545...
Presumably some l/f cameras will take the 550 ? What is an international back ? Any thing else I should know about this end of the camera ?
