Hi folks
Does anyone know of a small, light-proof bag that I could put over the back of my hasselblad?
Every so often I get some light leaks on it and I'm wondering if I put a light-proof over the back of the camera before pulling out the darkslide whether this would cure it. I do know that I could change the seal but right now I don't fancy fiddling about with it.
Thanks!
Jools

I don't know it will help, but when I use leaky bellows - not gashes, just pin-pricks and thinned creases - I put my dark cloth over the camera before tripping the shutter. Works for me. Like you with your light seal, I could change the bellows, but this approach is free

.
If you want a small, black bag made of thick plastic, I have one from a pack of 5x7 film. I could see if that has any holes in. Just let me know.

An old small changing bag should do the trick, and one of the arm holes would let you reach in to pull the darkslide.

Thanks for that.
And any ideas where I can buy such a thing? I'm thinking of going down to Provence to expand my image portfolio. It would seem a shame to just shoot on digital in such a photogenic place!

Hello Julian,
I have a very well made changing bag with two armholes that you can have.
Payment is not necessary, only the cost of postage
