GretagMacbeth eye-one display 2

Post by rhodej00 » Mon Jul 09, 2012 11:48 am Etc/GMT-1+01:00

I bought the above item about 3 years ago to calibrate a pc screen.
I have now moved to an Apple iMac and I cannot load the software for the above as it is not supported for macs. GretagMacbeth is now owned by X-Rite.
Does anybody know of an independent software supplier that may be used to get this up and running on my mac?
A long shot I know.
If not it will have to go on ebay or our classifieds.

John, I have the eye-one Display 2 by X-rite and it works perfectly on all my Macs. Have you tried downloading the most recent software from x-rite? http://www.xrite.com/product_overview.a ... ort&ID=788
When people ask what equipment I use - I tell them my eyes.

Hi there

Yes you should be able to get a free update from X-Rite.

You need to register with them then go to downloads and there is a message about updates for Mac osx Lion

Visit www.xrite.com/register

Let me know how you get on

Cheers

Chris

Chris & Paul

Thanks for the info. I have registered and downloaded what I hope is the correct upgrade.
I had previously emailed X-Rite about this and they came back with basically "try Leopold upgrade" which did not load as it is powerpc based and I have OS X Lion.
By the way am told that this will be upgradable to Mountain Lion sometime this month.

All I need to do now is have a go at the monitor icc profiling.

Thanks again John
