Adox film?

Post by dennis » Fri Nov 02, 2012 10:40 am Etc/GMT-1+01:00

Forget the following - just seen the note on AG site; Croatian factory has closed & production moving to Germany. Combining with Agfa perhaps?
Has Adox film inevitably gone the way of all film in the great scheme of things? Does not seem to be shown on the usual sites. Dennis

They told me in Silverprint that all the Adox CHS ART series had been discontinued because the coating plant had ceased production. There seems to be very little, if any remaining stock. Great shame; I have a couple of boxes left in 4x5 and part finished boxes of 7x 5 and 8 x 10 and when they have gone I'll probably never be able to use it again.

I believe that we will not see any offerings in large format for the foreseeable future. I know that Fotoimpex are working to reintroduce the APX line of films but have not heard/read of any real progress for a long time.
