Film is not dead, and free beers to celebrate it.

A place to talk about photography, the meaning of life and anything that doesn't quite fit elsewhere

Hi,

Fuji have just published this website, called choose film, and there is free beer at Focus to celebrate.

Long live film.

I registered earlier. Won't be able to get the free beer tho, have one for me :D

The place is empty right now, but I think it's about time the manufacturers start pushing their products to people. Since we've been posting film images to my own forum ( http://forum.manualfocus.org ) there is a whole bunch of users who picked up film cameras, sometime for the first time!

I just don't get the Choose Film website. I can't see the point of the forum. I can't see what's in it for Fuji. It feels like a final show of force, a final outing for the brave die-hards. I sure hope it isn't and there's still plenty of life yet in this film lark. I may yet be enlightened. Still it's nice to talk to fellow film users (as we know) and nice to see other people's work. And even nicer to see one's work recognised. Well done Russell!
Maybe someone could suggest they add a link to our own forum here.
