Does anyone use one of these lenses? I am considering buying one to replace the tired old 90mm f/6.8 Angulon lens that I have and I wanted some information if users are pleased with the image quality.
A 180mm Symmar-S has already replaced the old 150mm f/4.5 Xenar for my MPP and is a superb optic.
Schneider 110mm f/5.6 Super-Symmar XL Lens.

Hi Keith. The 110XL was my first LF lens and remains my favourite! It really does live up to the hype surrounding it too. It has masses of coverage on 5x4 and I have used it on 10x8 with B&W film and not had any loss of coverage - albeit without any movements
A search through the internet forums would suggest that everyone using it is more than happy - it is already considered as a "classic".

You don't tend to see that many coming up second hand which implies that people are happy with them and hang on to them.
Just watch out as there were some issues with the early, early ones but that's been sorted now from what I can gather.
Paul, any chance of a look through yours in Scarborough as it's on the wishlist for the future?
Edited to add - thinking about it, it may have been the SS 80 XL with the issues...
