Does anyone know who the UK stockist of Cambo products is?
I have checked Calumet UK, but they only have the Cadet model in stock.
I am considering a SC2 or similar, or perhaps an equivalent by another manufacturer.

Teamwork say that they are agents for Cambo but don't list them on their site (unless they're hidden away and not on the main index)

Robert White doesn't list them but have a couple on the secondhand page.

Cambo.com only gives Calumet for the UK.

Keith, why do especially want a Cambo ? Is it a matter of price or do you really prefer them ? You can pick up all sorts of different monorail cameras secondhand. Or would you even consider a field camera; Shen Hao have some interesting, low-cost, cameras, and Wista aren't that bad on cost.

The Shen Hao HZX4x5-IIA is tremendous value for money - still less than $650 at Badger Graphics. Even with shipping and import charges it should come in well under £500.
OK it isn't an Ebony, but it's still very nicely made and has a full range of movements. The only add-on I might suggest is a set of bag bellows for wide angle work - drop front and tilt with a 90mm lens can be hard work with the standard set.

It isn`t necessary that I buy a Cambo SCN/SC2, but it is a model that appeals to me, that or a similar specification by another manufacturer, eg: Toyo 45C.
Ideally, I would like a Linhof Technikarden 4x5, but these are rather expensive new and I haven`t seen any on the second-hand market.

Hi Keith - Hmmm, I would further ask if you intend to use this purely as a studio camera ot whether you intend to venture out into the wilds with it. If the latter, from a short experience with a Sinar F2, I would definitely advise against using a monorail and suggest a field camera instead. Take a look at how easy it is get a camera, several lenses, a couple of meters, etc, all in one backpack

I have a Cambo SC2 and a couple of lensboards that I could be convinced to part with... I replaced it with a Legend, a while back.

Are you coming to the workshop? You can have a non-comitting play with it, if Charles remembers to bring the camera...

1) Are you going to Scarborough?
2) Should you be going to Scarborough I could bring along my Linhof TK45 so that you could evaluate it. Someone else has right of first refusal on it at the moment but if it would help you decide .....
