Post by BarryWilkinson » Fri May 18, 2007 7:29 pm Etc/GMT-1+01:00

Just in case anyone's interested...

The 7 day shop is selling off their Velvia 50 at...

5x4 at £7.99 for ten sheets

120 at 99p per roll

35mm at £1.99 per roll

See http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/default ... ARCH&comp=

I gave no connection with them, just thought some here might be interested?

Yep, I was just about post this exact same thing. Looks like the "new 50" is imminent then.

Just ordered another 10 boxes, I like this old stuff

Assuming this is kept in the freezer, what is it's probable lifespan anyone?

7dayshop have been flogging off the "last ever" Velvia 50 for months and months, all they do is drop the price when they get nearer the actual deadline and they've still got tons to shift...

cynical, moi?

DJ - I guess it all boils down to whether you can tell there's a colour shift...

My Fuji data guide doesn't give a life but says to keep unprocessed Fujichrome film below 15°C and Fujicolor below 10°C in enclosed bags. For processed film, it's supposed to be below 25°C and between 30 to 60% RH, for extended duration - below 10°C and between 30 to 50% RH
