Beware changing profile email address

Beware changing the email address in your profile. I changed mine, was then prompted for my password, then I couldn't log back in. The account was deactivated. I tried to setup another, but I couldn't use my old user name or new email address, I was told they were in use.

I setup a new account using my work email address and a new user name, and Joanna noted this and kindly changed the user name back to Steve Bell. Later in the day I changed the contact email address again, and was promptly locked out again. Joanna edited this and its now working fine, I'm now a new member. My original account was nowhere to be found. I later reset my password, no problem.

if things like this happen, please email Jo or myself and we will reset the account. It is easier than doing th"new account-change name" routine

Marc, Joanna couldn't find my original account, it had just vapourised. Some remnents must have been there though, as when I setup another account it said my email address and user name were in use. Odd.
