Comparison of Micrttek F1/Epson V700/750

I was wondering if anybody has any comments on the relative merits on the above scanners, especially considering the price differential in the UK
I have read various comments on other forums, but this is mainly concerned with the US veriosn of the Microtek, i.e. M1, which is a different spec, and much closer in price to the Epsons than over there. This obviously effects the relative merits, so I was hoping for a UK perspective.
