Joe Cornish Exhibition

Post by alangolding » Mon May 19, 2008 1:40 pm Etc/GMT-1+01:00

Just noticed from the L &L site that an exhibition of the work of Joe Cornish will open in London on the 29th May and runs until the 11th July. It will be at the Hoopers Gallery i Clerkenwell Close. I will certainly be going.

Waiting for the developing bill - 2 hours (and it's so small now!)

And what a great exhibition it was. Joe showed a vast range of styles from intimate details to large vistas and from almost monotone prints at 6' x 4.5' to a majestic lush green landscape. A couple of my favourites were taken this year in deep powder on the top of the mountains of Scotland. The best photographs from the exhibition were around Glen Etive, which I am really looking forward to exploring on holiday in September.

There were lots of landscape photographers in evidence too and a good sense of camaraderie (camera dreary?).

The exhibit is well worth a visit and is running til July I think.
