Still thinking about 8 x 10 & came across the Richard Ritter cameras which appear to be mainly carbon fibre tubes + wooden frames. Does anyone have an 8 x 10 they can comment on & perhaps email some pics of it? His web site has pics of ULF cameras, but not very clear or detailed. Thanks. Dennis.

I have half a 7x17 from Richard. Just waiting for the other box to arrive from customs. Very frustrating. I have the back and bellows which weigh next to nothing. The whole thing will weigh about the same as my 8x10 Deardorff... 12 and a bit pounds.
I'm also getting a RR 8x10 which will weigh about half the Deardorff which will be most welcome.

Thanks for the info. I've come to the conclusion that I don't like the screw rear focussing, or the tubes sticking out at the front when in wide angle mode. Back to the drawing board. Dennis
