I haven`t long bought my Readyload holder and I am reluctant to buy a Quickload holder in case Fuji follows in Kodak`s foot steps. I will have to stock up on T-MAX 100. Fuji Acros is a lot more expensive and I slightly prefer T-MAX in roll-films.

The Robert White site has a page of cross compatibility between Fuji/Kodak/Polaroid fim and holders.

Matt was very thorough and careful when he did the RW test. Erring on side of caution, since no-one wants things to mess up when shooting.

There are many who have found that they get greater compatibility and posted as such elsewhere. Stock up now for Kodak in same way as for Polaroid... Shame, but not end of world, even if it seems like it. Look for special offers and invest if you like the film that much. I just bought 2 boxes of type 55 and found that my Polaroid back malfunctioned, so had to buy another....

I got a small freezer and bought up hundreds of sheets of Velvia 50 when this was discontinued, it is still amply stocked and will last another couple of years I expect. Similarly there was a special offer on Acros QL when buying other QL film (such as RVP), so I bought lots at £10 exc Vat per box, this is still serving me well.

Readyloads discontinued is a disaster!

I used Polaroid Type 55, and that has gone, so I went to Kodak Tmax 100 readyloads because I am useless at loading Dark Slides in a changing bag.

I've hit my credit card and ordered 10 boxes of Readloads and a spare holder. It will keep me going until I master loading my own :-0 - will find a way of blacking out my kitchen which may help loading.

VERY disappointed with Kodak.

And Fuji Quickloads are twice the price already of Kodak's!!

How long before all sheet film dries up is what I am asking..
